Certain people are dumbstruck that all legitimate scientists and environmental professionals agree with each other regarding Malibu Lagoon. They claim some sort of conspiracy. What they do not seem to know is that no scientist or environmental professional is willing to make a statement that is not backed up by facts, and the facts back up their opinions. I loved it at the Malibu City Council meeting last year when Siebert stated “we are all entitled to our own opinion, but we are not entitled to our own facts.”
